Pulled lamb is a delicious, nutritious, and quick supper option.

However, you cannot serve pulled lamb on its alone; it must be accompanied by some sides!

1. Chickpea Salad

If you’re searching for something vegetarian or vegan, this is a terrific alternative.

It’s also quite simple to make.Toss chickpeas with chopped onion and bell pepper, season with salt and pepper, and place in the fridge overnight.

You can serve it cold or warm!

This meal is best served over greens with a drizzle of olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice.

2. Minty Quinoa Salad

Quinoa is a great salad basis because it absorbs the taste of anything you combine it with (see what I did there?).

Simply combine quinoa, cooked beets, cooked carrots, and chopped mint leaves in a mixing bowl, then season with salt, pepper, and olive oil to taste.


This salad is delicious served warm or cold and pairs well with pulled lamb on the main course menu!

3. Quinoa Pilaf

If you want something more substantial than a side salad, try this easy pilaf dish using quinoa instead of rice as the foundation.

Simply boil them until soft (approximately 10 minutes), then sprinkle them with olive oil and salt before serving alongside your pulled lamb entrée!

I like baked beans because they are so simple to make–just put everything in a pot and let it boil!

You can also cook them ahead of time and reheat them later (ideal for last-minute entertaining).

Throw in any leftover pulled lamb from supper as well!

This dish is really simple to prepare and only takes 20 minutes from start to finish!

  1. Simply cook your pasta until soft, then drain thoroughly and mix with olive oil, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley until equally coated.
  2. Add diced tomatoes if desired (I recommend it).
  3. Serve chilled, at room temperature, or even hot if paired with something spicy!

Potatoes are a universal favorite!

If your guests aren’t huge on veggies or are starving after their main dish, these chips are a terrific way to fill them up without becoming bored.

  1. Simply slice the potatoes thinly and cook them till crispy, then season them!
  2. Serve them with your pulled lamb for a simple side dish that everyone will adore!

10. French Fries

Something about the crunchy crunch of a potato goes so well with pulled lamb.

If you’re feeling daring and want to shake things up a little, consider creating your own sweet potato fries instead!

Simply slice them into sticks and throw them in a basin with olive oil and salt before baking at 450°F for 15 minutes, or until crispy brown on the exterior (but still soft on the inside).

They taste amazing dipped in ketchup or mustard!

11. Baked Potatoes

Baked potatoes are an excellent side dish for any dinner, but particularly when serving pulled lamb as the main course.

  1. Cook or bake potatoes until they are tender on the inside but still have that crispy peel on top (you can also microwave them).
  2. Season with pepper to taste.Then, cut each potato in half lengthwise and top with sour cream mixed with chives or onions and salt.

12. Corn on The Cob

This dish is so basic that you most likely already have all of the ingredients on hand, with the exception of fresh corn on the cob.

If you don’t have any, go to your local farmers market or grocery shop (it’s in season right now).

  1. For this dish, you’ll need roughly six ears of fresh corn on the cob; just shuck them and extract all of the kernels from each ear by hand.
  2. Toss them in a large mixing basin with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until equally coated.
  3. Then roast them at 425°F for 20 minutes on each side; they’re done when golden brown!

13. Fruit Salad

Fruit can never go wrong! Simply take whatever is in season and cut it into bite-sized pieces.Berries are usually a fantastic option since they are vibrant and combine well with other fruits such as apples or melons.

Then top with yogurt (so creamy!) and almonds or seeds for crunchiness, and you’re done!

14. Sautéed Spinach

Sautéing spinach not only adds taste, but also tenderizes the leaves, making them easier to chew and swallow, which is particularly significant if you’re giving it to older visitors who may have difficulty eating.

Simply sauté spinach with garlic (or another herb) and oil until tender, then season with salt and pepper to taste!

15. Baked Sweet Potatoes

Baked sweet potatoes are another delicious side dish to offer with your pulled lamb.

Simply wash and rinse your sweet potatoes completely before roasting them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes, depending on size (they should be tender when poked).

If you want to make it extra special, put some cinnamon on top!

Roasted veggies are one of my all-time favorite foods!

pepper spice, and any vegetables you choose to roast (asparagus is a favorite).A sheet pan, olive oil, and salt are all you need.

Simply cut them into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle them with oil and spices before roasting them at 400°F until soft but not mushy.

Roasted vegetables work great with virtually everything, particularly when paired with pulled lamb!

Carrots are best roasted since it brings out their inherent sweetness while also making them delicate enough to consume without teeth!

In this dish, I combine carrots with butter and lemon juice; they’re excellent on their own but much better with a bowl of pulled lamb!

This grilled corn meal gets its kick from fresh cilantro and lime juice, and the herbs’ freshness makes it a fantastic companion for something spicy like pulled lamb!

19. Asparagus and Goat Cheese Salad

This recipe is ideal for the spring season, when asparagus is in season and goat cheese is at its peak.

This is one of my favorite risotto recipes; it’s simple to prepare and tasty!

  1. Simply sauté the onions in butter over medium heat, then add the rice (or barley) and simmer until transparent.
  2. Cook for around 20 minutes, or until most of the chicken liquid has been absorbed, before adding the parmesan cheese and stirring until melted.
  3. Serve hot!

22. Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Pine Nuts

Brussels sprouts are sometimes ignored on Thanksgiving, but now that we know how tasty they can be when properly roasted?

Were never going back!

To make these little fellas especially special for your visitors this year (and every year), put them in a dish with sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts (or walnuts), olive oil, salt, and pepper before roasting at 400F for 20 minutes, or until browned on top.

23. Roasted Carrots and Beets

Roasted carrots and beets complement any meat meal and are quite simple to prepare.

Simply sprinkle peeled carrots and beets with olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme sprigs, rosemary sprigs (optional), and roast at 400°F for 40 minutes, or until soft.
