1. Grilled Chicken

You may wish to provide something unusual to your visitors on occasion.

This is why I suggest a grilled chicken breast!

I like having my friends here for supper because they always get a sample of my excellent chicken.

You can turn this into a dinner by serving it with a side salad of fresh greens.

The chicken will provide a pleasant twist to what you generally serve, and the kale is high in iron and vitamins A and C.

2. Grilled Salmon

Salmon is another delicious option for what to serve with kale salad. It has a pleasant, clear flavor and is one of the healthiest fish available.

Consume enough of oily fish such as salmon, tuna, and mackerel to get the most nutritional advantages!

3. Roasted Carrots

Kale salad is an excellent side dish for any dinner, and if you make it yourself, you may experiment with various flavor combinations.

15 minutes on gas mark 6.200C fanRoasted carrots are one of my favorites, and you can make them by slicing your carrots in half and baking them at 400 degrees Celsius.

They’ll become soft and caramelized, and look fantastic on the platter!

Don’t worry if your carrots are thicker than usual; this approach works just as well for them.

4. Tuna Salad

One of my favorite kale salad accompaniments is a wonderful tuna salad.

This is because it provides crunch and a little protein, which means it will fill you up without weighing you down.

To make this a healthier choice, skip the cheese and replace it with low-fat mayonnaise.

5. Grilled Vegetables

Another healthy choice for what to serve with kale salad is a dish of grilled veggies.

It’s really up to you, however I like to get creative with my veggie alternatives and sometimes grill mushrooms or cherry tomatoes!

If you do decide to include grilled vegetables, put them over a bed of lettuce to maximize their fresh flavor and crisp texture.

6. Potato Salad

Another popular choice is potato salad, which is fast and simple to make.

All you need is a bag of white potatoes (or sweet potatoes if you like) and some dressing; I like to use a dollop of mayonnaise, a splash of milk, and some finely chopped fresh herbs like chives and parsley.

You may also include your favorite veggies such as green beans, tomatoes, cucumber, and carrots here.

7. Pasta Salad

A pasta salad is an excellent accompaniment to kale salad.

You may use whole wheat spaghetti or spiral pasta, and you can even change the ingredients to suit your tastes.

Add finely sliced cherry tomatoes, olives, feta cheese, dried cranberries, and black pepper to taste.

If you like, you may experiment with a little pesto.

8. Fresh Fruit

Fresh fruit is a wonderful and healthful addition to any meal, particularly when time is of the essence.

This is because it is simple to create and adaptable, allowing you to add whatever flavors you choose to give it more zing and appeal.

If you don’t have any fresh fruit on hand, kale, rocket, and sliced apples or pears create a filling side salad.

9. Garlic Bread

Garlic bread is a fast and simple side dish to create that is also tasty!

If you like, you may add your own unique touches to make it more special, such as creating your own handmade garlic butter or dressing.

Alternatively, a basic garlic bread mix from the grocery would suffice.

Simply top with butter, parmesan cheese, and minced garlic and bake until golden brown.

10. Baked Sweet Potato Fries

It’s sometimes enjoyable to eat healthily, and there’s no better way to do it than by eating fries!

Sweet potato fries are my particular favorite since they are both healthier and more tasty than plain white potatoes.

They also have a considerably lower carbohydrate content, so you can have them alongside other meals without becoming bloated or gaining weight.

I generally serve them with a salad of kale, avocado, and chicken, but if you’re feeling extra brave, top them with bacon, garlic, and cheese.
