This is an excellent side dish or dipping sauce for noodles and steamed veggies. If you want to serve it with ramen, opt for the store-bought variety!

A tomato sauce is a great accompaniment for dumplings, and there are so many different flavors and kinds to pick from. There’s the traditional tomato-based sauce, which I like, but I also believe it’s fun to experiment with new flavors. For a variation, try a sweet chilli sauce or one of the Asian sauces, such as oyster sauce, hoisin, or sweet soy. Roasting tomatoes enhances their flavor, making them ideal for this use.
6. Grilled Chili Sauce

One of my favorite comfort foods is chicken fried rice! I know it’s normally served with a slew of veggies, but I propose pairing it with these delectable side dishes instead. It’s a terrific choice for folks who prefer to eat healthily since you’ll receive a lot of vegetables and fiber while still getting a lot of chicken and noodles. Make your fried rice using cauliflower instead of chicken for a vegetarian alternative. It will work perfectly!
2. Sweet and Spicy Noodles

Yakimeshi is a Japanese delicacy comprised of steamed rice blended with different flavoring ingredients and served with sweetened condensed milk. This may be made with a number of flavor combinations, including strawberry and banana, apple and cinnamon, and even lemon and blueberry.

Because dumplings may be pretty heavy if cooked from a dough-based recipe, it’s always a good idea to keep things light and refreshing by opting for a rice dish instead! This hot red sriracha quinoa is quick and full of flavor, making it the ideal side dish for your next dumpling feast. To make a dish of healthful deliciousness, combine quinoa, chili, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and Sriracha. This meal may be served hot or cold, either with or without your preferred noodles.

We’re entering some weird area now, but if you like soup as much as I do, it’s not all awful.
The purpose of soup is to warm you up and fill you up. So you really can’t go wrong with a large bowl of soup.
There are so many variants on the concept, all with delicious soup.
It comes as no surprise that I have a couple soup recipes to offer as well.
1. Chinese Hot and Sour Soup
Another fantastic option for what to serve with dumplings is Chinese hot and sour soup, which is also quite simple to make. Simply combine a variety of fresh veggies, noodles, and broth in a saucepan, simmer, and you’re ready to eat. Just don’t forget the dumplings; they’re a necessary component of the soup!
2. Vegan Thai Coconut Soup
A vegan version of this classic Thai meal is just as tasty and will give enough of protein and healthy fats for your dinner guests. Why not give it a try? It’s a fairly fast and simple dish to make. If you want to create a more traditional version, replace the tofu with chicken or prawns. It’s also a fantastic way to add some extra vegetables into your diet if you’ve had a particularly hectic week.
3. Egg Drop Soup
If you consume Chinese cuisine at home, odds are you’ll order egg drop soup as your main course! But why should we stop there? In reality, egg drop soup with a dumpling or two may be eaten as a light snack or as a side dish. It’s hearty and gratifying, and it’s a lot of fun to dip the dumplings into the soup and eat them one by one. Of course, if you’re feeling experimental, you may also add other veggies. Just be sure to alter the flavors to your liking.
4. Miến Gà (Vietnamese Clear Noodle Soup)
This is a richly flavored Vietnamese noodle soup. It’s filled with flavor-packed veggies and fresh herbs and makes a great side dish to any dinner. It’s also quite simple to make. You just need a stockpot, some noodles, and a variety of veggies, but you may use whatever you have on hand. I prefer to serve it with rice or noodles so that my visitors don’t feel left out, but it works just as well on its own.

If you want to make it really spectacular, serve over freshly cooked rice and some fresh herbs.
14. Ramen Vegetable Soup
Dumplings are an excellent way to elevate a simple, healthful dinner.
